Blake was a member of the very first Graduating class of G.I.T in Hollywood, California where he continued on as a teacher afterwards. After moving to Dallas, he continued teaching and has taught over 85,000 lessons! He is an active multi-instrumental performer as well as composer on film scores, commercial music, CDs etc. He has been awarded the Texas Tornado Award, a distiction he shares with Stevie Ray Vaughn, Billy Gibbons, Dimebag Darryl, Chuck Rainey and other Texas players.
